Explore sandy terrain under a blistering sun. Heat hazards: heat is gained when the scout is exposed to the sun. Injury hazards: explosion damage from Dynamite. Poison hazards: scouts can be stung by Scorpion. Thorns hazard: many different environmental cacti that will embed the scout with thorns that must be plucked, Cactus that can stick to the scout, or if prickleberries are consumed. Other hazards: Antlion pits that the scout can fall into and be eaten, sandstorms that will pick up items including the scout, and tumbleweeds that will knock the scout down.

The crash landing area with relatively flat terrain designed for new players to learn game mechanics. Key resources: luggage/backpacks, campfire camps, rope cannon.
